Bronze on Silver 2

Tri-x @320 in D-76 1:1, increased agitation to 5x/minute and a total of 10.5 minutes.
I've shot this before in 35mm, but I wanted to re-shoot in 120 format. This frame might go in the "To Print" file.

Pioneer cemetery - Kent, Oregon

Tri-x @400, D-76 1:1.  Canon Elan 7, Lensbaby Muse.
I had wanted to shoot this place (situated right off of Hwy 97) with some sky, but the clouds just weren't cooperating. I tried to get creative with the Lensbaby and focus on the iron fence while still keeping the rest of the image in context. I'm not sure I like the lines here, but this is what came of my shoot that evening.

Macro on film

I'm amazed at the detail that Acufine brings out in Tri-x.  50mm at f/8, with 14 and 21mm extension tubes.  Shot @1600.  If you have to underexpose Tri-x, this is your go-to developer.

Sprocket lines duly noted.  Will need to re-fix some negs.

Kodak Vision 3 Cinema Film (50D)

Michael from the Film Photography Project was kind of enough to send me a few rolls of Kodak Vision 3 Cinema Film last year. This roll was ASA 50, daylight balanced (50D), so I tried it out in our back yard and in a local park to catch some of the fall colors last year. Getting rid of the remjet layer is an extra step in the C-41 processing, but I do like the look and feel of this film. I'd like to get another roll or two to try out in more sunlit conditions. Or better yet...how about some of this in 120?
