I scanned this too brightly, but ultimately this is a very printable negative. It's up next in my printing cue.

Shot on Ilford SFX 200 35mm film, developed in Kodak d-76, printed on Ilford MCIV paper with a #3 multicontrast filter.

So here it is, my first silver halide enlarger print. For a few hours on Saturday, my bathroom was turned into a darkroom. Much paper was harmed in the making of this print. I'm getting better and more efficient, though, so my next session won't be so bad. There's room for improvement here, but I'm not displeased with the outcome.

Next time I shoot Ilford SFX 200, it will be with a real IR filter. As it is, I think I just found my new favorite film.
